Amorphous strategy to nickel oxide nanosheets for highly active and selective hydrogenation reaction

چکیده

Transition metal oxides (TMOs) as low-cost hydrogenation catalysts exhibit high selectivity and durability. However, due to the lack of activation sites required for H2 dissociation, harsh conditions such pressure (1–5 MPa H2) temperature (100–250°C) are usually needed achieve activation. Herein, we developed an amorphous nickel oxide nanosheets with exceptionally low coordination number Ni-Ni shell, this unique feature not only facilitated but also preserved remarkable (∼99%) in vinyl group under mild (room (25°C) (100 kPa)).
